A warm and welcoming family based in West London are seeking an experienced temporary housekeeper / family support candidate to join their household from 1st September until 12th October. This is an exciting opportunity to support a busy family during the arrival of newborn twins. The household includes four children aged 22 months, 5, 7 and 8 years old, with newborn twins expected in late August or early September. A 24-hour maternity nurse and an additional support assistant will also be present, allowing the successful candidate to focus primarily on housekeeping while providing flexible support to the family whenever needed. There is also the possibility of a long-term position becoming available from December or January for the right candidate.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
- keeping the house and garden tidy and well presented
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the family
- putting away clean clothing and household linen
- changing bed linen and making beds
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- ensuring household supplies are well stocked and organised
- supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household
- providing occasional childcare support when required
- assisting the family with general tasks and stepping in where needed
- helping create a calm, organised and welcoming family environment
