A lovely private household in Henfield is seeking an experienced live in housekeeper couple to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and upkeep of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional couple who enjoy working together to deliver a high standard of housekeeping while ensuring the property is always well maintained, organised and welcoming.
The successful couple will be hardworking, discreet and self-motivated, with a flexible approach and excellent attention to detail. They should be confident managing a variety of household responsibilities, using their initiative and working with minimal supervision. Someone who can drive is needed for this role. Previous experience in a similar private household role and outstanding references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the property to an exceptional standard
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms and all communal areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing throughout the home
- managing laundry, ironing and specialist garment care
- changing bed linen and caring for household linens
- organising wardrobes, cupboards and storage areas
- preparing fresh meals when required
- keeping the kitchen clean, organised and fully stocked
- shopping for groceries and household supplies
- running household and personal errands
- overseeing deliveries and liaising with contractors and service providers
- carrying out basic property maintenance and reporting repairs
- assisting with the care and presentation of outdoor areas where required
- ensuring the household operates efficiently and maintaining the highest standards at all times
