A lovely household based in Bexley is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper cook to assist with the smooth running of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, organised and efficient candidate who enjoys maintaining a high standard of housekeeping while preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for the family.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, have excellent attention to detail and take pride in creating a clean, organised and welcoming home. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- planning and preparing fresh, healthy family meals
- batch cooking and preparing meals in advance when required
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- grocery shopping and monitoring household supplies when required
- running household errands as needed
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented at all times
