A lovely family based in Epsom are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper / cook to help maintain their home and prepare fresh, home-cooked meals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who enjoys combining housekeeping with cooking and takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming household.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage their time effectively and maintain excellent attention to detail. A confident driver is essential for this role, as occasional errands and shopping may be required. Previous experience in a similar private household position and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- planning and preparing fresh, healthy family meals
- batch cooking and meal preparation when required
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- grocery shopping and running household errands when needed
- driving for household-related duties when required
- helping ensure the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times
