A lovely family based in Barnet are seeking an experienced and professional live out housekeeper / cook to support the smooth running of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and reliable candidate who enjoys combining high-quality housekeeping with preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for the family.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing a busy household, have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently while maintaining a warm and welcoming home environment. Applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable working around family pets. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
- making beds and changing bed linen
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all household areas
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- planning and preparing fresh, nutritious family meals
- batch cooking and meal preparation when required
- keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well maintained
- monitoring household supplies and assisting with grocery shopping
- helping with pet-related tasks when required
- ensuring the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times
