A lovely elderly couple based in St John’s Wood are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to assist with the upkeep and organisation of their home. This is a wonderful opportunity for a kind, professional and proactive candidate who enjoys helping to maintain a comfortable and well-run household.
The role is based in a well-kept 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom property and would suit someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail and is happy to assist with occasional cooking. The household also has a small dog, so applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable around pets.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- vacuuming, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- tidying and organising household spaces
- monitoring household supplies and reporting shortages
- occasional meal preparation and simple cooking
- helping maintain a comfortable and welcoming home environment
- assisting with light pet-related tasks when required
