A lovely household based in Guildford is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to assist with the smooth running and upkeep of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who enjoys maintaining high standards and creating a clean, comfortable living environment.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, trustworthy and capable of working independently while managing a variety of household tasks. A driver is essential for this role, and applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable working in a household with animals. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- vacuuming, dusting and mopping floors
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- keeping household areas tidy and well presented
- running occasional household errands when required
- monitoring household supplies and reporting shortages
- assisting with pet-related tasks when needed
- helping ensure the home remains organised and welcoming at all times
