A lovely family based in Chelsea are seeking an experienced temporary housekeeper to join their household from the end of August until early October. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, organised and hardworking candidate to provide high-quality housekeeping support during a particularly busy period for the family. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the home remains clean, organised and running efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently while adapting to the changing needs of the family. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials when required
- receiving deliveries and assisting with household organisation
- running occasional household errands
- helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household
- assisting the family with general household support as required
- reporting maintenance issues promptly
- ensuring the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times
