A lovely family based in Meopham are seeking an experienced and caring part time nanny housekeeper to support their growing household. The role involves caring for their two children, aged 5 years and 18 months, with a newborn due in September, while assisting with light housekeeping to help keep the home running smoothly. This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm, organised and proactive candidate who enjoys working with young children and supporting busy family life.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for babies, toddlers and young children, be confident managing different age groups and be happy to assist with household duties during quieter periods. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the children
- supporting the routines of the toddler and preparing for the arrival of the newborn
- planning engaging and age-appropriate activities
- encouraging learning and development through play
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- assisting with school and nursery routines when required
- supporting nap times, feeding and general childcare routines
- helping with bath time and evening routines when necessary
- keeping the children’s bedrooms, nursery and play areas tidy and organised
- undertaking light housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and family living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care for the children and family
- making beds and changing bed linen
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running occasional household errands when required
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
