A warm and welcoming family in Kensington is seeking a dependable part-time nanny housekeeper cook to support their home and provide care for their 2-year-old, with additional hours available once the new baby arrives in January. This role suits someone experienced, organised and confident managing both childcare and household tasks during the afternoon and early evening.
The ideal candidate is proactive, calm and able to balance gentle routines for a toddler with maintaining a tidy, well-run home and preparing simple, nutritious meals.
Duties include:
- supporting the 2-year-old with afternoon routines, play and early learning
- assisting the parents with newborn-related tasks once the baby arrives
- preparing simple family meals and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- general housekeeping, tidying and maintaining communal areas
- managing laundry, ironing and helping keep children’s wardrobes in order
- organising toys, children’s spaces and household supplies
- creating a warm, structured and supportive environment during busy after-school hours
