A warm and busy family in Reading, Berkshire, is looking for a reliable and child-friendly Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain their home. The role involves general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, tidying, and laundry, while also being comfortable around young children.
The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and able to support the smooth running of a family home. Flexibility with hours would be a bonus.
Duties would include:
- vacuuming and mopping the floors
- changing the bed linen
- deep cleans of the house
- cleaning the bathroom sinks and mirrors
- doing the laundry and ironing the clothes
- folding away freshly ironed clothes
- dusting furniture
- hoovering the carpets and floors
- ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
- preparing simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
