A lovely family based in Queen’s Park are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their home and provide some light childcare support for their two children aged 6 and 8 years old. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive and happy working within a family environment.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient and able to maintain high standards throughout the home while also being warm and friendly with the children. Someone confident managing household tasks independently and assisting with after-school routines when needed will be well suited to this role. There are no pets in the household. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organised home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- changing bed linen and keeping bedrooms tidy
- maintaining kitchens, bathrooms and living areas to a high standard
- preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- assisting with light childcare and after-school routines
- helping keep children’s areas organised and tidy
- ensuring the household runs smoothly on a daily basis
