A welcoming family based in Peterborough are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper / nanny / cook to support the smooth running of their home. The role will be predominantly housekeeping, with some childcare support for the family’s two young children aged 3 years old and 1 year old.
The ideal candidate must be organised, proactive and comfortable balancing household tasks with occasional childcare. A confident cook who can assist with food preparation for the family would be highly valued. The household also has a dog, so the candidate must be pet friendly. A driver is essential for this role.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness of the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- keeping living spaces, kitchen and bathrooms tidy and well organised
- food preparation and assisting with family meals
- supporting with childcare for the children when required
- keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
- occasional help with family routines
