A lovely family based in Camberwell, London is seeking a warm, reliable and organised part time housekeeper / nanny to support with their two young children, aged 2 and 4, while helping to maintain their home. This is a regular morning position, three days per week, combining childcare responsibilities with general housekeeping duties.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for young children and be confident managing morning routines and school drop-offs. They should also be happy to help with general housekeeping, take initiative and ensure the home remains clean and organised.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the children
- supporting the children’s morning routines
- helping the children get dressed and ready for the day
- preparing breakfast and snacks when required
- organising the children’s belongings and school bags
- taking the children to school or nursery when required
- ensuring the children arrive safely and on time
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy
- carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning and tidying kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, dusting and wiping household surfaces
- making beds and changing bed linen when required
- managing laundry and putting clothes away
- keeping the home clean, tidy and well organised
- using initiative to assist with additional household tasks when needed
