A lovely family based in Barnet are seeking an experienced and caring part time housekeeper nanny to support the care of their two children, aged 2 and 5 years old, while helping to maintain a clean and organised home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, reliable and proactive candidate who enjoys balancing childcare with housekeeping responsibilities. Additional hours can be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for young children, be organised and able to work independently while ensuring the household runs smoothly. A driver would be highly desirable to assist with school and nursery routines, although this is not essential. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for both children
- supporting nursery and school routines
- collecting the children from nursery and school when required
- planning engaging and age-appropriate activities
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- supporting the children’s learning and development through play
- assisting with bath time and evening routines
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- running household errands when required
- driving the children to activities if applicable
- ensuring the home remains tidy, organised and welcoming at all times
Requirements:
Current Paediatric First Aid
Current Enhanced DBS
UK Work Permit
Valid Driver’s License
