Position: Part Time Housekeeper

A lovely household based in Harpenden is seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper to help maintain their home to a high standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and organised candidate who enjoys working independently and takes pride in keeping a home clean, tidy and well organised.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be trustworthy and able to manage a variety of housekeeping duties efficiently. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- keeping the home tidy, clutter free and well presented
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- running occasional household errands when required
- helping ensure the home remains organised, welcoming and running smoothly each day
