Position: Part Time Housekeeper

A welcoming family in Hadley Wood are looking for an experienced part time housekeeper to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of their home. This is a long-term position suited to someone who is organised, self-motivated and takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully presented household. The family are looking for a candidate who can work efficiently, use their initiative and become a trusted part of the home.
The successful candidate should have previous experience working in a private household, excellent attention to detail and a positive, flexible attitude. Applicants must also be pet friendly and comfortable working in a home with pets. Excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- cleaning and maintaining all areas of the home to a high standard
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing throughout the property
- laundry, ironing and careful wardrobe management
- making beds and changing bed linen
- cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas thoroughly
- keeping worktops, appliances and cupboards clean and organised
- organising storage areas and ensuring the home remains clutter free
- caring for delicate furnishings and household items
- monitoring household supplies and notifying the family when replacements are required
- running occasional local errands if needed
- being comfortable around household pets
- maintaining a tidy, organised and welcoming environment throughout the home
