A private household in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex is looking for a reliable and experienced Part Time Housekeeper / Cook to support them with the upkeep of their home and day-to-day household tasks. The role is for 1 full day per week and would suit someone organised, efficient and confident managing a home independently
The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience, take pride in their work and be able to maintain a consistently high standard of housekeeping. A good standard of cooking is also required, along with a full driving licence and access to a car.
Duties include:
- carrying out thorough cleaning throughout the home
- dusting and polishing surfaces
- vacuuming and mopping floors
- cleaning bathrooms and maintaining them to a high standard
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
- keeping living and dining areas tidy and presentable
- changing bed linen and making beds
- laundering household clothing and linens
- ironing and folding laundry
- keeping bedrooms clean and organised
- preparing fresh home-cooked meals
- planning simple and nutritious meals
- shopping for groceries and household supplies
- maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing when needed
- loading and unloading the dishwasher
- managing household rubbish and recycling
- carrying out occasional household errands
- ensuring the home is kept clean, tidy and well maintained
