A lovely household based in Greenwich are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper cook to provide regular support with the smooth running of their home. This is a varied role combining high-standard housekeeping with fresh, home-cooked meal preparation, making it ideal for a reliable, organised and proactive candidate.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household, be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and enjoy cooking. They should be able to work independently, manage their time effectively and take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming home. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- wardrobe and clothing care
- organising cupboards and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- preparing fresh, healthy home-cooked meals
- planning simple menus according to the household’s preferences
- shopping for groceries and household essentials when required
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing items as needed
- cleaning kitchen appliances and ensuring the kitchen is kept to a high standard
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- running occasional household errands when required
- ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and welcoming at all times
