A private household based in Dorking are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper / cook to support the smooth running of their home. The family are looking for someone organised, proactive and able to manage both housekeeping and cooking duties to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, be confident working independently and enjoy preparing fresh, home-cooked meals. The household has two small dogs, so a candidate who is comfortable around pets is essential.
Duties would include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- planning and preparing fresh, healthy meals for the family
- keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well maintained
- grocery shopping and managing household supplies
- tidying and organising household spaces
- occasional pet-related tasks such as feeding or letting the dogs out
