A lovely client based in Hampstead is seeking an experienced part time housekeeper / companion to provide practical household support and friendly companionship. This is a rewarding opportunity for a kind, organised and reliable candidate who enjoys helping others while maintaining a clean, comfortable and welcoming home.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable and able to work independently while offering companionship and day-to-day assistance. Applicants should also be comfortable working in a pet-friendly household with two dogs and two cats. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- running household errands and grocery shopping when required
- providing companionship and conversation
- accompanying the client on local outings or appointments if required
- assisting with light household administration when needed
- being comfortable around the household’s two dogs and two cats
- helping ensure the home remains a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment
