A private household based in Chorleywood are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented part time housekeeper to help maintain their 4-bedroom home. The family are looking for someone efficient, self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently while keeping the home running smoothly.
The ideal candidate will be organised, thorough and comfortable taking initiative. Some light food preparation will be required, so a candidate who is happy to assist in the kitchen would be preferred.
Duties include:
- wiping down surfaces and maintaining cleanliness across all rooms
- vacuuming and caring for floors and soft furnishings
- refreshing bathrooms and ensuring hygiene standards are maintained
- handling laundry, folding and putting items away neatly
- keeping wardrobes and storage areas organised
- preparing simple ingredients or assisting with basic meal prep
- ensuring the kitchen is clean and ready for use
