A private household based in Ledbury are seeking an experienced and reliable part time cook / housekeeper / companion to provide support within their home. This is a varied role, with a strong focus on cooking, alongside housekeeping and companionship.
The ideal candidate will be warm, friendly and proactive, with a genuine enjoyment of cooking and supporting others. Strong cooking skills are essential, with the ability to prepare fresh, nutritious meals. The family can offer separate cottage accommodation for a candidate who may prefer to live in, however the role will remain part time with 4 hours of work per day.
Duties include:
- planning and preparing fresh, home-cooked meals
- supporting with light housekeeping and maintaining a tidy environment
- laundry, ironing and general household upkeep
- providing companionship and friendly support within the home
- keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well maintained
- assisting with day-to-day household tasks as needed
