A family in Southwark is looking for a part-time companion housekeeper to support an independent elderly client with day-to-day routines and housekeeping. The role requires a gentle and caring presence alongside someone practical and dependable around the home.
Duties include:
- offering friendly conversation and company throughout the day
- assisting with light household tasks such as tidying and general upkeep
- doing the laundry and ironing
- dusting furniture and hoovering carpets and floors
- changing bedsheets once a week
- preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks
- cleaning the kitchen and clearing up after meals
- running occasional errands or grocery shopping
