A private household based in Kensington are seeking an experienced and professional live out housekeeper / cook to assist with the smooth running of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone organised, proactive and confident balancing high-standard housekeeping with family cooking.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient and able to work independently, ensuring the home remains clean, tidy and well organised at all times. Someone who enjoys preparing fresh, home-style meals and can adapt to the needs of a busy household will be well suited to this role. The family would ideally like someone happy to travel with them occasionally, although this is not essential. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- keeping the home organised and well presented
- planning and preparing fresh meals for the household
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- shopping for household supplies and groceries when required
- assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the household
- occasional travel with the family if agreeable
