A private household based near Guildford are seeking an experienced and reliable weekend housekeeper to assist with the upkeep of their home. This role can be offered on a live in or live out basis and is ideal for someone organised, proactive and confident maintaining high standards across a large property.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work independently, ensuring the home remains clean, tidy and well presented at all times. A driver is essential for this role, and the candidate must be comfortable around dogs, including walking and occasional dog sitting. Previous experience in a similar position and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout a large home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas to a high standard
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- ensuring all areas, including ancillary accommodation, are well maintained
- walking and caring for the family dog as required
- keeping the home running smoothly over the weekend
