A warm and welcoming family in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking an experienced and reliable Live-In Housekeeper Nanny to help care for their three children and maintain their home to a high standard. This is a varied role that includes general housekeeping duties such as cleaning, tidying, laundry, and ensuring the home stays well-organised. You will also provide support with childcare, including school runs, preparing meals, and planning fun and age-appropriate activities for the children.
The family has a pet hamster and may introduce a small dog in the future, so they are looking for someone comfortable with animals. Additionally, the role involves accompanying the family on trips during school holidays, so a flexible and adaptable approach is essential.
Duties include:
- supervising homework
- cooking and preparing meals for the children
- helping with bath and bedtime routine
- doing school drop offs and pick ups
- taking the children to afterschool activities
- taking the children to activities and playdates
- doing arts and crafts
- wiping down the kitchen surfaces
- cleaning cooking utensils after use
- doing laundry and ironing of clothes
- vacuuming and mopping floors
- dusting and polishing furniture
- changing the bedsheets
- making sure the bedroom and bathroom are clean
- doing grocery shopping
