A welcoming family based in Cranbrook are seeking an experienced and reliable live in housekeeper couple to support the smooth running of their household and estate. This is a varied and rewarding role suited to a proactive, practical and well-organised couple who are confident working together across both household and outdoor duties.
The family have two children aged 4 and 9 years old, and the ideal couple will be warm, trustworthy and flexible, with the ability to assist with occasional childcare when required. The property also includes a lovely self-contained 2-bedroom annex provided for accommodation. Someone who can drive is ideal for this role. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- keeping all indoor spaces clean, tidy and well organised
- cooking or assisting with meal preparation if required
- gardening and general outdoor maintenance
- basic handyman and property upkeep tasks
- occasional babysitting and support with the children
- running errands and assisting with household organisation
- ensuring the property and grounds are well maintained at all times
