A private household based in St Albans are seeking an experienced and reliable housekeeper to assist with the smooth running and upkeep of their home. The family are open to considering either a full time or part time candidate, making this a flexible opportunity for the right person.
The role is based within a spacious 6-bedroom home and would suit someone who is organised, proactive and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organisation. Candidates must be comfortable around pets, as the household has two dogs. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- tidying and organising household spaces
- dusting, polishing and caring for household furnishings
- maintaining household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- helping ensure the home remains well presented and organised at all times
- assisting with pet-related tasks when required
