A client in Cranleigh, Surrey, is looking for a dedicated and passionate gardener to care for their estate. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for trees, plants, and rockery, with strong knowledge of horticulture and garden maintenance.
The client is looking for someone with a genuine love for nature, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to garden maintenance. This role offers the opportunity to work in a beautiful estate with the added benefit of private cottage accommodation for live-in candidates.
Duties will include:
- planting, pruning, and maintaining trees, flowers, and shrubs
- caring for rockery and ornamental gardens
- lawn care, including mowing, edging, and treatment
- managing irrigation systems and ensuring proper watering
- pest and disease control using eco-friendly methods
- seasonal planting and garden development
- maintaining pathways, patios, and garden structures
- working closely with the property owner to enhance and preserve the landscape
