A lovely family based in Orpington are seeking an experienced full time housekeeper to help maintain their home to an exceptional standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, organised and reliable candidate who takes pride in delivering high-quality housekeeping and enjoys working independently within a private household.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage the day-to-day running of the home using their own initiative. Applicants must be confident drivers and comfortable working in a pet-friendly household. Previous experience in a private household and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- cleaning interior windows, mirrors and household appliances when required
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials when needed
- running household errands and grocery shopping
- receiving deliveries and assisting with household organisation
- driving for household errands and appointments when required
- being comfortable working in a home with pets
- reporting maintenance issues promptly
- ensuring the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
