Our recruitment fees.
Clearly explained.
Understand what your recruitment fee covers, how it is calculated and the questions to settle before starting your search.
THE SHORT ANSWER
A £195 registration fee, including any applicable VAT, covers the agreed registration work and is credited in full against your final agency invoice. We confirm your introduction fee and applicable VAT in a written quotation before you decide to proceed.
What your recruitment service covers
Our work starts with understanding your household: the responsibilities, working pattern, experience required and the kind of support that would make everyday life easier. We help you clarify the brief, consider relevant candidates and move through introductions and interviews.
Screening is considered in relation to the role. Speak to your consultant about the references, qualifications and checks relevant to your placement, and read our screening process. You should understand both the agency’s work and your own responsibilities as the employer.
How the permanent placement fee is calculated
Your written quotation confirms the introduction fee or how it is calculated, any applicable VAT and your payment arrangements. The agreed hours and remuneration help us prepare your quotation.
For temporary arrangements, changing requirements or an extension to a placement, ask us to explain the applicable charges in writing.
When the fee becomes payable
The introduction fee becomes due when your chosen candidate accepts your offer. Payment is by bank transfer. Your quotation and invoice explain the payment arrangements.
Your written quotation and full Terms of Business set out the charges and conditions for your search before you commit.
Support if a placement ends early
Qualifying placements include one replacement search at no further introduction fee, subject to our full terms. Eligibility includes payment within seven days of the invoice date or before the agreed start, whichever is earlier.
We use reasonable endeavours to find a suitable replacement. Our full terms explain the replacement, cancellation and refund arrangements.
What is separate from the agency fee?
The employee’s salary, payroll administration, relevant employer contributions, insurance, agreed expenses and accommodation costs where relevant should be budgeted separately. Your agency invoice is not the employee’s ongoing pay.
Our nanny cost guide and housekeeper cost guide help you distinguish recruitment costs from the household’s employment budget.
Your next step: a clear written quote
Tell us the role, location, working pattern and salary budget you have in mind. We will discuss the brief and explain the charges for your search. This guide gives an overview. Read our Terms of Business summary for more information. We supply the full terms and your quotation before you decide to proceed.
For an overview of the journey, read hiring household staff for the first time. You are welcome to ask questions before deciding how to proceed.
