A lovely family based in Highgate, London is seeking a warm, reliable and experienced part time nanny housekeeper to care for their two children, aged 3 and 5, while helping with the general upkeep of their home. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys combining childcare with housekeeping responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for young children and be confident managing their daily routines and activities. They should also be organised, proactive and happy to undertake general housekeeping duties, ensuring the home remains clean, tidy and well organised.
Duties include:
- providing warm, attentive and nurturing care for the children
- supporting the children’s daily routines
- helping the children get ready for school and nursery
- school or nursery drop-offs and collections when required
- preparing healthy snacks and simple meals for the children
- organising fun and age-appropriate activities
- assisting with homework, reading and educational activities
- taking the children to clubs, activities and appointments when required
- supporting bath time and evening routines
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- undertaking general housekeeping duties throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- organising children’s clothing and belongings
- keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
- washing up and tidying after meals
- maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming home environment
