A lovely family in Birmingham is looking for an experienced and reliable Part Time Nanny Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis. The role involves caring for two young children, aged 6 weeks and 18 months, alongside supporting the family with general housekeeping duties.
The ideal candidate will be confident caring for babies and toddlers, warm and attentive, and able to balance childcare with keeping the home clean and organised. Previous experience with very young children is essential, and the family is looking for someone dependable who can become a trusted part of their routine.
Duties include:
- providing attentive care for the 6-week-old baby and 18-month-old child
- following the children’s individual routines and schedules
- preparing bottles and age-appropriate meals and snacks
- managing naps, feeding and changing routines
- engaging the children in age-appropriate play and activities
- supporting the toddler’s development through play and interaction
- taking the children out for walks and activities when appropriate
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- washing and sterilising bottles and baby equipment
- doing the children’s laundry and ironing
- changing children’s bedding and maintaining their rooms
- general cleaning and tidying throughout the home
- dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors
- cleaning and maintaining bathrooms
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and living areas
- keeping household areas organised and presentable
- loading and unloading the dishwasher
- managing laundry and household washing
- replenishing household supplies when needed
- helping with general household organisation and day-to-day tasks
