A welcoming family in North London are looking for an experienced full time nanny / housekeeper to support with the care of their 10-year-old child and assist with the smooth running of their home. This is a lovely position for a dependable, organised and proactive candidate who is confident working with older children and enjoys a combination of childcare and housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will be confident managing the child’s daily routine, school commitments and activities, while also taking responsibility for the household duties. A driver is required for school runs, activities and occasional errands. The successful candidate should be trustworthy, discreet and able to work independently, with previous private household experience and excellent references.
Duties include:
- caring for the child and providing a positive and supportive environment
- managing the child’s daily routine
- school drop-offs and collections
- driving the child to school, clubs and activities
- helping with homework and school projects
- organising activities and outings during free time
- supporting the child’s hobbies and interests
- preparing breakfasts, snacks and meals
- preparing family meals when required
- organising school bags, uniforms and belongings
- keeping the child’s bedroom and personal areas tidy
- carrying out general housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- wardrobe and clothing care
- keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- grocery shopping and purchasing household supplies
- monitoring household provisions
- washing up and tidying after meals
- running household errands when required
- driving for child-related and household errands
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- using initiative to ensure the household runs efficiently

Requirements:
Paediatric First Aid
Enhanced DBS check
UK work permit
Valid Driver’s License
