A lovely household based in Lewisham are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper to provide regular support with the upkeep of their home. This is a straightforward role suited to a reliable, organised and hardworking candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented household.
The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience and be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently. They should have excellent attention to detail, work efficiently and be able to use their initiative. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming and mopping floors
- dusting and polishing furniture and household surfaces
- cleaning kitchen surfaces and appliances
- laundry and ironing when required
- making beds and changing bed linen
- changing towels when required
- keeping cupboards and household areas organised
- maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen
- washing up and tidying after meals
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials
- receiving deliveries when required
- running occasional household errands
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- assisting with general household tasks as required
- ensuring the property remains clean, comfortable and running smoothly at all times
