Position: Part Time Housekeeper

A lovely household based in Orpington are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper to provide regular support with the upkeep of their home. This is a straightforward role suited to a reliable, organised and proactive candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented household.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household and be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently. They should have excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills and be able to work efficiently without constant supervision. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- wardrobe and clothing care
- dusting and cleaning furniture and household surfaces
- organising cupboards and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- cleaning kitchen appliances when required
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials when needed
- receiving deliveries and assisting with household organisation
- running occasional household errands when required
- keeping the home tidy, organised and beautifully presented
- assisting with general household tasks as required
- ensuring the property remains clean, comfortable and running smoothly at all times
