Position: Part Time Housekeeper

A lovely household based in Egham are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper to take responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep of their six-bedroom home. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised and proactive candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented household.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household and be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping independently. They should have excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills and be able to use their initiative. A driver is preferred for the role, particularly for household errands and shopping. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- wardrobe and clothing care
- organising cupboards and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- cleaning kitchen appliances and ensuring the kitchen is kept to a high standard
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing essentials when required
- grocery shopping and household shopping when required
- running occasional household errands
- driving for shopping and household errands when required
- receiving deliveries and assisting with household organisation
- keeping the home tidy, organised and beautifully presented
- assisting with general household tasks as required
- ensuring the property remains clean, comfortable and running smoothly at all times
