A lovely household based in Warlingham, Surrey, are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper to provide regular support with the upkeep of their five-bedroom home. This is a straightforward housekeeping role suited to a reliable, organised and proactive candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented home.
The household has five bedrooms, although only one bedroom requires regular weekly cleaning, with the remaining bedrooms needing attention occasionally. The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience, excellent attention to detail and be able to work efficiently and independently. Excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning the regularly used bedroom each week
- cleaning the additional bedrooms when required
- cleaning bathrooms and other household areas
- cleaning the kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- making beds and changing bed linen
- laundry and ironing when required
- dusting and cleaning furniture and household surfaces
- keeping the home tidy and organised
- cleaning kitchen appliances when required
- organising cupboards and household areas when needed
- monitoring household supplies and advising when items need replenishing
- ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and well presented at all times
