Position: Part Time Housekeeper Cook

A lovely household based in Crouch End are seeking an experienced part time housekeeper / cook to provide regular weekday support with the smooth running of their home. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised and proactive candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-presented home while also preparing fresh, home-cooked meals.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household, be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and enjoy cooking. They should be able to work independently, manage their time effectively and have excellent attention to detail. Previous private household experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- maintaining high standards of housekeeping throughout the home
- cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- laundry and ironing
- making beds and changing bed linen
- wardrobe and clothing care
- organising cupboards and household storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- preparing fresh, healthy home-cooked meals
- planning simple menus according to the household’s preferences
- shopping for groceries and household essentials when required
- monitoring household supplies and replenishing items as needed
- cleaning kitchen appliances and ensuring the kitchen is kept to a high standard
- keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
- running occasional household errands when required
- ensuring the home remains clean, comfortable and welcoming at all times
