A lovely family based in Northstowe are seeking an experienced temporary live in nanny to care for their 4-year-old twins for a short-term placement beginning in mid to late November. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warm, energetic and organised nanny who enjoys caring for young children and can confidently manage their daily routines while providing a fun and nurturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for children of a similar age, be confident working independently and enjoy planning engaging activities to support the children’s development. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the twins
- supporting the children’s daily routines and encouraging independence
- planning fun, educational and age-appropriate activities
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- assisting with morning, mealtime and bedtime routines
- supporting early learning through play and creative activities
- taking the children on outings and local adventures when appropriate
- keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- washing and caring for the children’s clothing
- preparing school or nursery items if required
- maintaining open communication with the parents regarding the children’s wellbeing and progress
- ensuring the children’s safety, happiness and wellbeing at all times
