A lovely family visiting Marylebone are seeking an experienced temporary nanny to provide additional childcare support from 22nd to 28th July. The family have five children aged between 4 and 12 years old and will already have their regular nanny with them, so this role will involve working as part of a team to ensure the children are well cared for throughout the week.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, organised and confident caring for multiple children of different ages. You should enjoy planning engaging activities, be flexible in your approach and work well alongside other childcare professionals. Previous nanny experience and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and engaging care for the children
- working alongside the family’s existing nanny
- supervising indoor and outdoor activities
- planning fun and age-appropriate games and activities
- assisting with meals and snack times
- supporting daily routines and outings
- helping keep the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy
- encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
- ensuring the children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- providing an extra pair of hands to help the family throughout their stay
