A lovely household based in Westminster is seeking an experienced and professional full time housekeeper to help maintain their home to an exceptional standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, organised and detail-oriented candidate who enjoys working independently and takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable and well-managed home.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient and able to use their initiative while carrying out a wide range of housekeeping duties. Applicants must be pet friendly and comfortable working in a household with pets. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
- making beds and changing bed linen
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing all household surfaces
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas
- caring for delicate furnishings and household items
- maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- monitoring household supplies and reporting when items need replenishing
- running occasional household errands when required
- assisting with light pet-related duties when needed
- ensuring the home remains tidy, welcoming and beautifully presented at all times
