A lovely household in New Malden is looking for an experienced and dependable part time housekeeper / cook to help keep their home clean, organised and running efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining high-quality housekeeping with preparing fresh, home-cooked meals for the family.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and able to work independently, taking pride in maintaining a well-presented home while planning and preparing nutritious meals. Previous experience in a similar private household role and excellent references are essential.
Duties would include:
- general housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- vacuuming, mopping, dusting and polishing household surfaces
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- planning and preparing fresh, healthy family meals
- batch cooking and meal preparation when required
- keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and well organised
- monitoring household supplies and assisting with grocery shopping when needed
- helping ensure the home remains clean, organised and welcoming at all times
