A welcoming household in Westminster is looking for an experienced part time housekeeper to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of their home. This role would suit someone who is efficient, trustworthy and takes pride in delivering a high standard of housekeeping while working independently.
The family are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented candidate who can help keep the home running smoothly and maintain a clean, organised environment. Applicants should be pet friendly and comfortable working around family pets. Previous experience in a similar role within a private household and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the home
- cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and living areas
- laundry, ironing and garment care
- changing bed linen and making beds
- dusting, polishing and caring for household surfaces
- vacuuming and mopping floors throughout the property
- organising cupboards, wardrobes and storage spaces
- tidying communal areas and ensuring the home remains clutter free
- checking household supplies and replenishing essentials when required
- assisting with light household errands if needed
- providing occasional assistance with pet-related tasks
- helping maintain a comfortable and well-organised home at all times
