A lovely family based in Cranbrook are seeking an experienced and professional live in housekeeper couple to assist with the smooth running and maintenance of their family home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and hardworking couple looking for a long-term position within a welcoming household.
The family have two children, and while the role is primarily focused on housekeeping, gardening and property maintenance, occasional babysitting may be required. Both candidates should be confident drivers. The property includes a lovely self-contained two-bedroom annex provided as accommodation. Previous experience in similar roles and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- cleaning, tidying and organising all household areas
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- making beds and changing bed linen
- managing household supplies and grocery shopping when required
- helping ensure the household runs smoothly on a daily basis
- occasional babysitting and childcare support when needed
- gardening and maintaining the grounds to a high standard
- lawn care, pruning and seasonal garden maintenance
- outdoor cleaning and upkeep of exterior areas
- general property maintenance and minor repairs
- monitoring household systems and reporting maintenance issues
- assisting with deliveries, errands and practical household tasks
- ensuring the grounds and outdoor spaces remain tidy and well presented
