A lovely family based in Hampstead are seeking an experienced and highly organised nanny / head housekeeper / cook to take a leading role in the management of their busy family home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional candidate who is confident balancing childcare, household management and family cooking within a large household.
The family have four children aged 7 years old, 4 years old, 2 years old and a newborn baby. The ideal candidate will be proactive, nurturing and capable of overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of a 6-bedroom home while ensuring the children are well cared for and family life remains organised. A confident driver is essential, and candidates must be comfortable around the family’s two dogs. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- supporting the daily care and routines of the children
- assisting with school runs and children’s activities
- helping with homework and after-school routines
- providing support with the younger children and newborn when required
- acting as head housekeeper and overseeing the smooth running of the household
- full housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
- organising household schedules and ensuring the home remains well presented
- planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals for the family
- managing grocery shopping and household supplies
- liaising with contractors and service providers when required
- helping care for the family’s two dogs
- driving duties and family errands as needed
Requirements:
Current Paediatric First Aid
Current Enhanced DBS
UK Work Permit
Valid Driver’s License
