A lovely family based in Basildon are seeking an experienced and reliable part time nanny housekeeper to assist with the care of their two children aged 2 and 5 years old, alongside helping with the smooth running of their home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone warm, organised and confident balancing childcare and housekeeping responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, proactive and able to create a fun and supportive environment for the children while ensuring the home remains tidy and organised. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and caring support for the children
- planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and play
- supporting daily routines and developmental milestones
- preparing meals and snacks for the children
- assisting with nursery and school-related routines when required
- general housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness throughout the home
- laundry, ironing and household organisation
- keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and organised
- helping ensure the household runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis
