A lovely family based in Islington are seeking an experienced and caring part time nanny / housekeeper to assist with the care of their 2-year-old child while helping with the smooth running of the household. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone warm, organised and proactive who enjoys working with young children and supporting busy family life.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, reliable and confident balancing childcare responsibilities with light household duties. Someone who enjoys preparing healthy meals for young children and understands toddler development will be particularly well suited to this role. Previous experience in a similar position and excellent references are essential.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and engaging care for the child
- planning age-appropriate activities, play and outings
- supporting the child’s routine and development
- preparing healthy snacks and meals
- batch cooking nutritious meals for the toddler
- keeping the child’s bedroom, toys and play areas tidy and organised
- children’s laundry and related housekeeping duties
- general household tidying and organisation
- helping ensure the home runs smoothly during working hours
