A lovely family based near Colchester are seeking an experienced and reliable part time housekeeper / nanny to support the care of their two children aged 4 and 7 years old, alongside assisting with the smooth running of their home. This is a varied role suited to someone warm, organised and confident balancing childcare and housekeeping duties.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, friendly and able to manage household tasks independently while also providing attentive care and support to the children. A driver would be preferred for this role. The household also has one small dog and one cat, so a pet-friendly candidate is essential. Previous experience in a similar position and excellent references are required.
Duties include:
- providing attentive and nurturing care for the children
- supporting school routines and after-school care
- planning engaging, age-appropriate activities
- preparing meals and snacks for the children
- general housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organised home
- laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
- keeping children’s areas tidy and well presented
- helping ensure the household runs smoothly on a daily basis
- occasional care and oversight for the family pets
Requirements:
Current Paediatric First Aid
Current Enhanced DBS
UK Work Permit
Valid Drivers License
